Dear New Mexicans,

Welcome to our monthly newsletter, created to help keep New Mexicans informed of freedom efforts around the state.​Here is a summary of upcoming, local advocacy and activism a across New Mexico for December. This month's newsletter includes announcements for these locations:

New Mexico Freedoms Alliance (NMFA)

We need to raise $5,000 in order to cover our operating costs for 2025 (web hosting, email service, zoom account, printing costs, special outreach campaigns, etc).

NMFA Leaders Meeting, Once/month, Mondays, 5pm

  • New Mexico Freedoms Alliance (NMFA) hosts monthly Zoom meetings for NM group leaders once-a-month on Mondays at 5pm to coordinate statewide actions, learn about specific ways to support each other, etc.  

  • If you are a NM leader who is interested in joining these meetings, please contact Sarah Smith at concernedfornm@gmail.com

 

NMFA Schools Meeting, quarterly, Mondays, 6 pm

  • NMFA hosts Zoom meetings for NM teachers, school personnel, and parents to discuss concerns about and ways to improve education in New Mexico.

  • Zoom meetings are currently quarterly on Mondays at 6pm.

  • Teachers, school personnel, parents, and school board members who are interested in joining these meetings contact Sarah Smith, concernedfornm@gmail.com

Meets monthly to foster community, share information and upliftment. Contact Karen to receive meeting invites. 


The Library Guild - Albuquerque

Ramona Goolsby: 

The Library Guild meets weekly at different libraries around the city. In December, we will meet on 12/4 and 12/11. We will resume meetings on January 8th, so we can honor God and our families as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and a New Beginning.

We are pleased to announce that Teresa Barncastle is our December guest speaker. She is beginning her fourth and final year as the President of the New Mexico Federation of Republican Women. Teresa will be speaking on the history and structure of both the NFRW and NMFRW.

Las Cruces

Coalition of Conservatives in Action (CCIA) https://conservativesinaction.org/

CCIA advocates for positive change in Las Cruces in the areas of crime, homelessness, public policy, education, and other key issues affecting the local community. Advocacy at City Council, School Board, and County Commission are an important part of this mission along with educating our community in areas of importance.


CCIA hosts public meetings Thursdays at 6pm.


CCIA events and guest speakers for December include:

  • Action committee updates and planning for Education Committee, Election Integrity Committee, and Crime & Public Policy Committee

  • Holiday potluck
